This article takes R. E. Hemmings and E. J. Berkley, who is the founder of Hemmings & Berkley, as research objects. Through identified the life track of R. E. Hemmings and E. J. Berkley and reinterpret the typical works of the firm, this article aims to seek the relationship between the modern architect and the'transformation of architecture's style and features in the city, clarify its role in the construction of modern cities.
