People name natural kinds with regard to certain natural matter＇ s effect to human beings. This kind of naming doesn＇ t leave a good epistemic foundation for the following usages of these terms. Kripke explains the naming of natural kinds with baptisms, but his explanation doesn＇ t fit for the using of natural kind terms in scientific studies. To Take Kripkean rigidity of natural kind terms, we must follow a kind of realism. Under the range of interpretation, Kripke＇ s works serves a theoretical platform in combining studies from Scientism and Humanism.
