针对光照不足或均匀性较差的图像,传统增强算法容易导致敏感细节信息丢失或高亮度信息饱和等问题,文章提出基于小波变换的低照度图像增强算法,对不同频率特性采用不同的增强系数进行分层处理以达到图像增强的目的.实验结果表明,该算法在增强图像对比度的同时更多地保留了场景细节信息.
Ttraditional Image enhancement algorithms easily lead to the loss of sensitive details or high brightness information saturation, while the images lack of illumination or uniformity. So an enhancement algorithm for low-illumination image based on wavelet transform is introduced. This algorithm does hierar- chical processing with different enhancement factor for different frequency characteristics to achieve image enhancement. The experimental results show that the algorithm not only enhances image contrast but also reserves more scene details.
