刺叶锦鸡儿(Caragana acanthophylla)和草原锦鸡儿(C.pumila)是乌鲁木齐周边荒漠植被的重要组成种,是荒漠地区植被恢复的潜在先锋种.对刺叶锦鸡儿和草原锦鸡儿室内干贮藏8年、6年、1年的种子进行萌发实验.结果显示:刺叶锦鸡儿贮藏8年、6年、1年及鲜种子的萌发率分别为70.4%、72.9%、59.4%、46.4%,可见贮藏6年和8年的种子比贮藏1年及鲜种子的萌发率高,可能是其种子的物理休眠在干贮藏期间得以解除.而草原锦鸡儿贮藏8年、6年、1年及鲜种子的萌发率分别为90.6%、96.5%、92.5%、93.2%,种子萌发不受贮藏时间的影响,也许是因为其种子不休眠,种子活力在干贮藏期间逐渐丧失.从萌发速度来看,刺叶锦鸡儿种子的萌发速度不受贮藏时间的影响,而草原锦鸡儿贮藏8年的种子萌发速度比贮藏6年的慢.该研究可为锦鸡儿属植物的种质资源保护以及干旱区植被恢复提供理论依据.
Caragana acanthophylla and C. pumila are perennial shrub of Leguminosae, important component of desert vegetation around Urumqi. Because of their drought and barren resistance and functions of water and soil resources conservation and sand fixation, C. acanthophylla and C. pumila are potential pioneer species in restoring desert. This research studied the germination of C. acanthophylla and C. pumila with fresh seeds and seed s dry-stored for 1 year, 6 year s and 8 years. The results indicated that the germination percentage of fresh seeds for C. acanthophylla was 46.4%, that of seed dry stored for 1 year as 59.4%, that for 6 years as 72.9%, and that for 8 years as 70.4%. The germination percentage of seeds dry stored for 6 years and 8 years was significant higher than seeds dry stored for 1 years and fresh seed. For C. pumila, the seed germination percentage of C. pumila were 93.2%, 92.5%, 96.5%, 90.6% respectively, not being affected by the storage time. In addition, storage time showed significant effect on seed germination speed of C. pumila, but not on that of C. acanthophylla. The germination speed of seeds stored for 8 years was slower than for 6 years for C. pumila. The present study can provide theoretical basis for germplasm resources conservation and desert vegetation restoration.
