Based on the transaction cost theory,this paper assorts the agro-industrialization and patterns of agro-businesses in ＂Technolo- gy-Market＂ dimensions and makes a comparative study between the cases of Laizhou and Shouguang. The analysis shows that the organi- zational patterns should be consistent to local agro-businesses and that matching between organizational patterns of agro-industrialization and the characteristics of agro-businesses can improve the efficiency of industry development.
