Social capital is the collection of actual and potential resources accepted by all and is related to the established institutional C, uanxi network. The investigation in four counties shows that the conflicts among villagers are related to many factors like age, sex, community participation, that; and social network. Social capital has a close connection with the construction of a harmonious village. A better understand- ing of such factors can help reveal the internal mechanism of such conflicts and promote the construction of a harmonious society.
