Looking back the development of high-tech industries in China.By clustering analyzing and designing the High technology industry cluster index,studying the evolvement of high-tech industries in spatial series,getting the conclusion that the high-tech industries can be divided into five categories,they have different characters from the east regions to west.The agglomeration of high-tech industries in east regions is keeping on enhancing,but the other regions are declining since 1996.But in the agglomeration efficiency,high-tech industries in east regions have taken on declining,so the articles chooses the typical provinces,Guangdong,Jiangsu,Shanghai,Shanxi and Jilin for studying,the result is that the high-tech industries in Jiangsu,and Guangdong have appeared excessive agglomeration.And finally,doing data envelopment analysis（DEA） to high-tech industries in the five provinces and pointing out the way for improvement.
