This paper briefly describes the significance of power transfer function of charge sensitive preamplifier in the field of nuclear electronics. For calculation of power transfer function of preamplifier, the periodogram and the burg method are introduced separately. The advantages and disadvantages of the two methods are com- pared experimentally, and the result shows that the burg method is more applicable to power spectrum density estimation of nuclear signal.
