ISO 14405 ： 2001 is an international standard about linear dimension aided drawing. Through studying and analyzing the standard, some disaccords on terms, definitions and application between the standard and other related standards were presented and that some limitations for application of CN GN to size features with demands of directional and positional tolerations were pointed out. Aiming at the disaccords and limitations above, the practicability of the standard was discussed.
