The main task of bioradar is penetrating some objects or media with certain thickness, non-contact detecting the vital signs at some distance. The technology of bioradar can be widely applied in the fields such as military medicine, disaster medicine, counterattacking urban terror and so on. It is accepted as an important and sophisticated technology around the science world. The conception of bioradar and its classification is introduced in this article. The characteristics of this technology is analyzed. The current research situation both at home and abroad and prospects of bioradar are mainly discussed. This article presents recommendations and references for the further research of the technology of bioradar.
