在放射性核束物理的实验研究中,需要对核反应产物进行测量和鉴别,以获取反应过程中的重要信息。使用GEANT4软件对CsI(TI)闪烁体探测器对高能质子的能量响应进行了蒙特卡罗模拟,以确定这种探测器用于探测能量范围10MeV-150MeV质子的能量响应。通过对晶体外表面包覆材料反射率、耦合光敏二极管面积、质子射程等条件的模拟和分析,找到了提高CsI(TI)闪烁体探测器性能的方法。
In the experimental study of radioactive nuclear beam physics, it is of necessity to measure and identify the nuclear reaction products to so as to get the detailed information in the reaction process. A Monte Carlo simulation code based on GEANT4 software is developed to study the energy response of a CsI(T1) detector in detecting protons with energy ranging from 10MeV to 150MeV. By analysis of the parameters such as reflectivity of the surface, area of photodiode and range of proton,, we find a way to improve the performance of CsI(T1) scintillation detector.
