At present, border gateway protocol is a mostly dynamic, distributed and inter-domain routing protocol used in WAN, it has plenty of routing control mechanisms. The inappropriate using of the MED （multi-exit-disc） attribute commonly induces to hot-potato routing and the persistent MED oscillation. This paper presented a routing policy technology called MED cheat to realize the inter-domain egress selection. It explicitly expatiated on the principles and concrete policy of MED cheat and optimized the way of MED cheat. In conclusion, validated the strategy by using the simulation software.
