We cannot run parallel jobs on PC clusters with local IP addresses as yet. In this paper we describe an effective method to solve the problem by simply modifying the Globus and MPICH -G2 source code and creating a TCP/IP proxy program. The implementation of the method is detailed and with the method parallel jobs run successfully on PC clusters.
