The process parameters for ultrasonic impact treatment of 7A52 A1 alloy welded Joints were optimized by orthogonal experiment variance analysis. The grain size of surface and the thickness of deformation layer is two comprehensive assessment indicators. The results show that the best process parameters are that the diameter of the impact needles is φ4 mm, the impact time is 60 min based on the 260 mm welded joints, and the impact current is 2.0 A.
