Scissor grab presents advantages of high efficiency,large grasping ratio,conducive to clearance and low failure rate. According to the mechanical design theory,the design and analysis of the whole structure are carried out from the mining curve. and the finite element analysis of the stressed parts of the grab analyzed by the finite element analy is carried out with ANSYS as the tool of structural analysis. Through this method,it verifies the reliability of the machine,and provides a reference for engineering design.
