Grassland ecosystem is an important part of land ecosystem. There were lots of studies on carbon-nitrogen cycle of grass- land. This paper summarizes the mechanism, affecting factors and coupling characters of carbon - nitrogen cycle on grassland ecosystem in china, and points out the difficulties and issue, provides reference for the study at present and in future.
