The paper presents state-of-the-art research and development of wireless Mesh networks worldwide ,then describes testbed architecture of Shanghai Jiaotong university wireless Mesh network （SJTU-Mesh）, including system architecture, hardware platform and software structure,and then introduces testbed deployment and application,finally it gives conclusions and future perspective view.
