Recently, the research about tea saponin has been attracted more and more attention because of its different kinds of bioactivities and fine foaming and emulsifying activity for the pesticides. This paper gave a general present state of the research on tea saponin as an excellent botanical pesticide, natural surfactant and eco-friendly synergist in pesticide. Meanwhile, the mechanism and synergistic action of tea saponin were also introduced.
