Viterbi equalizer is typically implemented to combat frequency-selective distortion in communication systems, and the reduction of computation complexity and cost is the key problem. Viterbi algorithm used in GMSK demodulation system is analyzed and implemented. The proposed structure could successfully realize the system performance, and reduce the system cost and hardware complexity.
