以沉积型一水硬铝石为主的重庆某铝土矿含有部分一水软铝石和三水铝石,铝硅比5.19。中国地质科学院矿产综合利用研究所采用自主研发的新型高效铝土矿浮选捕收剂EM505对该矿石进行了正浮选试验。在磨矿细度为-0.074mm占75%的情况下,经2粗3精、粗选与精选尾矿集中进行1扫1精扫流程处理,获得了Al2O3含量为68.86%、SiO2含量为6.79%、铝硅比为10.14、Al2O3回收率为83.39%的铝土矿精矿,达到了拜尔法生产氧化铝的原料质量要求。EM505不仅可通过选择性絮凝实现对粗、细粒水铝石的高效综合回收,且所形成的精矿泡沫具有细小、性脆、兼并速度快、不发黏等优点,是铝土矿正浮选的高效捕收剂。
A bauxite ore in Chongqing is mainly composed by the sedimentary type diaspore,boehmite and gibbsite,silicon to aluminum ratio is 5.19.Direct-flotation test were conducted by Institute of Multipurpose Utilization of Mineral Resources,Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences using self developed collector EM505 with grinding fineness of 75%-0.074 mm,via two roughing and three cleaning,rough concentration tailing and cleaning tailings mixed and via one scavenging and one cleaning process,concentrate with Al2O3 grade of 68.86%,SiO2 grade of 6.79% and with the recovery of Al2O3 83.39%,and silicon to aluminum ratio of 10.14 was obtained,which can be used in production of Bayer method.Synchronous flotation of both coarse and fine particles was achieved by using the collector EM505.At the same time,the flotation concentrate bubble is brittle,small and fast speed of merger and mineralization by use this collector,especially not sticky,so the collector EM505 is a high efficient collector for direct-flotation on bauxite.
