基于半导体光放大器(SOA),提出了一种适于异步光分组交换的反射式全光分组头提取方案,它具有比特率透明、开关比(CR)大等特点,适于变长、全光分组交换。仿真了不同速率光分组头的提取效果,分析了系统参数对CR的影响。结果表明,当分组头脉冲速率分别为622Mb/s、2.5Gb/s及10Gb/s时,CR分别为25.46、25及21.7dB。CR随输入脉冲能量、小信号增益及SOA饱和能量的增大而增大,通过适当选取这些参数,可进一步提高系统性能。
A semiconductor optical amplifier(SOA)-based reflective all-optical header extraction scheme for asynchronous optical packet switching applications is presented,which can improve the switching contrast ratio(CR) and realize all-optical processing for bit-rate transparent and variable-length packets.The extraction processes for the packets with different bit-rate headers were simulated,and the influences of the system parameters on CR were analyzed.The results show that the CR for the packets with header pulses at the rates of 622 Mb/s,2.5 Gb/s and 10 Gb/s are 25.46 dB,25 dB and 21.7 dB,respectively.The CR increases with the input pulse energy,small signal gain and saturation energy of the SOA,and the system performance can be optimized by properly selecting the structure parameters.
