英文摘要：

The stress concentration problem of finite-width plates with a central circular hole were analyzed in terms of finite element method by ABAQUS software. We defined the stress concentration factor K and characteristic parameter ξ used to describe the relative scale between the width of plates and the diameter of the circular hole. By means of a series of numerical experiments, the ξ - K curve was obtained to reflect the stress concentration level around the hole and then compared with the analytical solution to get its scope of application. In addition, the stress concentration phenomena of elliptic holes with various shapes were numerical analyzed. Besides, the singularity of elliptic tip was discussed briefly.
