Abnormal memory and stress play a key role on the development of addiction. Aiming at finding out the relationship between learning, memory and relapse of psychological active substances and its neurobiological mechanism, our efforts mainly concentrate on the brain mechanisms underlying morphine psychological dependence. Based on the modified and newly - made animal model measuring inborn behavioral character related to psychological dependence, we investigated the interaction between drug addiction and memory effects and the neurobiological mechanisms underlying the interaction during different phrase of drug addition, explored the effect of stress and negative emotion on the development and relapse of addiction, identified some genes responsible for individual risk for addiction with microarray technique.
