为了解决计算时间过长这一制约有限元计算在实际工程中应用的瓶颈问题,提出了一种利用现有的图形处理器(GPU)和可编程序的着色渲染语言(CG)加速有限元计算的方法。该方法按照GPU的特点设计出了单元信息表示方法,实现了单元内力计算的同步,克服了以往利用CPU进行有限元计算时程序并行程度不高的缺点。研究结果表明,针对板料成形问题的仿真计算效率提高了近10倍,大大缩短了计算所需的时间,对解决实际工程问题具有应用价值。
In order to eliminate the lasting calculation bottleneck on application of finite element,we proposed a new method to accelerate the computation of FEM by using the existing modern GPU and programmable shading tool.In accordance with the features of GPU,we devised a method representing unit information and initial conditions,which converted all the unit calculations into rendering process.In this way,the simulation work of all the unit calculation of the internal force will be solved,and the shortcomings of lowly parallel level appeared ever before when it run in a single computer can be overcome.Studies show that this mean can improve efficiency and shorten calculating hours greatly.Aimed at the elasticity problem of large number cells in a sheet metal,the GPU parallel simulation calculation rate will be faster than that by using the CPU's,as well as it has useful and practical value in solving the project problems.
