With the rapid growth of internet usage and development of Web technologies, the Web-based workflow management service provide conditions for distributed working and inter-enterprise corporation, and it has become the characteristic of the next-generation Workflow Management System （WfMS）. In order to improve its flexibility, maintainability and scalability, Author presented a new workflow client application interface scheme based on Web Portal, and then gave its architecture design and primary implementation techniques.
