溯自金融学领域的实物期权理论被管理学者用于解释创业领域的微观和宏观问题，分别应用在创业过程分析、创业战略的选择以及创业社会现象的解析等方面的研究。虽然这些研究对企业和社会层面的创业问题提出了一些有价值的结论，但主要还是集中于理论上的初步探讨，对创业过程中的各种不确定性特征及其相关的实证研究还比较少。本文通过评述基于期权理论的创业研究文献，进而总结提出相应的研究启示，希望为后续应用实物期权理论开展创业研究的学者提供理论参考。
英文摘要：
The real option theory concerns with the flexibility of strategic decisions, offering a new logic to analyze uncertainty, irreversibility, and dynamics. Though this theoretical pattern has been widely used in the field of finance and strategic management, it was not until mid-1990s had it been applied in the entrepreneurial research. Particularly, much of this research concentrates on the theoretical statement and still lack of empirical study. This paper sets out to make thorough reviews on these works, and presents some indications which can be referred to future research based on real option theory.
