The morphological characters of Cynodon dactylon were estimated through 7 indices including leaf length of upright stem,leaf width of upright stem,leaf length of stolon,leaf width of stolon,turg height,internode diameter and internode length in 4 different habitats（sun ground,shade ground,xeric ground,and saline and alkaline land）.The results indicated that the turf quality of wide C.dactylon in different habitats was ranked as follows： xeric groundsun groundsaline and alkaline landshade ground.
