为了提高三维城市模型综合效率，该文根据三维建筑综合的特点，提出三维建筑综合区的概念；归纳出综合区建立的一般原则：综合区建立过程中，以河流、道路等要素所构成的约束多边形对待综合区域进行粗划分，将建筑最小外界矩形和凸包两种聚类指标结合提出一种建立综合区的有效方法。实验结果证明，该方法具有较高的效率，并能够有效保证所构建综合区的合理性。

In order to improve the generation efficiency of 3D building model, the paper presented the concept of 3D building generalization area considering the characteristics of the generalization, and summed up the construction rules of the area： in modeling of 3D building generalization area, area to be generalized was first divided by the network constructed by rivers and roads, and MBR and convex of building ground were integrated for generating the building area. Experimental result showed that the method could meet the needs of 3D building generalization with high efficiency.
