Considering the shortages of lacking semantic support for information resources sharing in peer-to-peer networks,a semantics-oriented model framework of knowledge resources sharing in peer-to-peer networks is presented with the help of the methods of utilizing ontology to perform information semantic processing.The functions and roles of each component in the model framework are described,and the key supporting technologies in performing knowledge resources semantic sharing in peer-to-peer networks are discussed,including ontology design,metadata schema,information resources semantic processing,matching algorithm and user profile.
