This paper records the usage of liangge as a conjunction in Tongjinpu dialect, under Changli cluster of Southwest Mandarin, in Cili county in Hunan province. Liangge in this dialect is a common coordinate conjunction used between two nouns, proving that numeral words in Chinese are originated from coordinate conjunctions rather than only from verbs.
