Raman spectroscopy has been extremely explored and becomes a very important tool in biomedical research.The recent advances in Raman spectroscopy of human tissue and cancer diagnosis are reviewed.Development of novel Raman detection techniques such as Raman imaging,surface-enhanced Raman spectoscopy（SERS） and coherent anti-stokes raman spectroscopy（CARS） as well as Raman tweezers are introduced.
