In order to prevent intrusion or eavesdrop of intelligent optical network based on GMPLS, security is an important factor which must be considered. Firstly, we analyze the various attacks which are facing in link management of intelligent optical networks. Furthermore, some corresponding service requirements of security to attacks are presented. Finally, we proposed secure resolution in link management protocol.
