This paper is the exploration of construction ＂bushi＇＂. ma＂ on its syntactic and pragmatic characteristics. From the syntactic aspect, we find that it can be followed by three kinds of elements with its high markedness and function of focus. From the pragmatic aspect, after analyzing its inference of discourse implication, we find that rhetorical questions need to be answered some- times. This is also a modification for previous conclusion.
