The shear test has been conducted on composite specimen with rubber asphalt macadam waterproof layer by direct shear apparatus J100- 1 type of rock. The relationship between shear strength and factors has been revealed in this paper. The study has shown that groove on the cement concrete slab surface、2. 05 per square of50 # rubber asphalt、gravel particle size changing from 9. 5 to 13. 2mm and 14. 45 kg per square in dosage are best to improve shear strength of waterproofing layer.
