Can industries aggregation promote the technology advance？ This paper takes the Chinese equipment manufacturing industry as an example and calculates industrial aggregation index of equipment manufacturing industry, found the same change trend between this two indexes. Empirical results show that industrial will affect TFP through the technological progress and efficiency improvement, efficiency improvement is in the larger extent. And accordingly the corresponding policy and suggestion is put forward.
