目的探讨A群链球菌制剂对BALB/c小鼠血糖和链脲佐菌素诱导小鼠高血糖的影响。方法取正常BALB/c小鼠,给予不同剂量的A群链球菌制剂处理,观察对小鼠的血糖及糖耐量的影响;用链脲佐菌素(streptozotocin,STZ)注射普通小鼠诱导高血糖,再注射链球菌制剂观察小鼠血糖的变化,并比较各组血清胰岛素水平的差别。结果注射链球菌制剂的BALB/c小鼠血糖较对照组(给予0.9%氯化钠溶液)显著降低;经链球菌制剂预处理的BALB/c小鼠的血糖值在口服葡萄糖后比对照组显著下降;链脲佐菌素处理前或处理后注射链球菌制剂,小鼠的血糖值均比单用链脲佐菌素处理的小鼠明显升高。结论链球菌制剂可降低BALB/c小鼠的基础血糖值,改善其糖耐量,与链脲佐菌素合用增强诱导小鼠高血糖的作用。
Objective We studied the effects of Group A hemolytic streptococci on normal blood glucose of BALB/c mice and hyperglycemia induced by streptozotocin (STZ) in common mice. Methods Normal BALB/c mice were injected with Group A hemolytic streptococci, then the blood glucose values and glucose tolerance were detected. STZ was used to induce the hyperglycemia in common mice, the changes of blood glucose and serum insulin after being treated with streptococcal preparation were studied and compared between groups. Results Streptococcal preparation lowered blood glucose levels and markedly improved glucose tolerance (GTT) in BALB/c mice. Blood glucose values for mice treated with preparation and STZ were significantly elevated than those in mice treated with STZ only. Conclusion Group A hemolytic streptococci could reduce normal blood glucose of BALB/c mice and improve their glucose tolerance, which promote hyperglycemia in mice in combination with STZ.
