The functions and features of SignalTap Ⅱ , a typical embedded logic analyzer which is vital for quick debugging of FPGA-based systems, were introduced firstly. The structure and operational principle of SignalTap Ⅱ were analyzed briefly, and an application example was presented to explain how to use SignalTap Ⅱ in debugging a FPGA system.
