For GPS single frequency users, the ionospheric delay error is the most serious and intractable problem. High efficiency and high precision correction of ionospheric delay error is the most critical factor to determine the positioning accuracy of single frequency users. Several new correction programs are discussed. The efficiency and feasibility of new algo- rithm are tested by examples. And some reasonable proposals for different precision users to select ionospheric delay correction programs are given.
