S100A6 is a member of the S100 family of EF-hand calcium-binding proteins,which participates in a variety of pathological processes,such as cell signal transduction,cell cycle regulation,and secretion of extracellular matrix.It has also been proved that S100A6 is closely related to tumor occurrence,development and metastasis.This article reviews the research status and progress of S100A6 calcium binding protein.
