In this paper, temporal patterns on air pollutants of Beijing and Hangzhou were studied during 1st September 2013 and 31st July 2014. To reflect spatial differences on pollutant emission sources of inner city, hourly results from urban environmental assessment monitoring sites and urban background monitoring sites were also selected and analyzed. Air quality of the two cities was evaluated.
