同位素水文学主要利用同位素技术解决水文学中的一些关键问题。本文简要介绍了同位素分馏的基本概念,对平衡条件下瑞利分馏机制进行了分析。以水体蒸发为例,用瑞利分馏模型模拟了水体平衡蒸发中稳定同位素的比率与温度、剩余水体积比的关系,结果显示水体平衡蒸发中稳定同位素比率是剩余水体积比的函数,随它的减小呈指数增大。通过室内外自由水体在天然条件下的蒸发实验,获得了氧同位素分馏因子与剩余水体积比的关系,其结果与瑞利分馏模型理论分析一致,实验还得出了时段分馏系数与时段蒸发量成反比的关系。
