Objective： To discuss the effects of case-based learning（CBL） in dental implantology education.Methods： The teacher organized and prepared the CBL cases before class by reference to the clinical cases.The content of each case should include relevant theoretical knowledges and other related basic sciences.Students discussed the CBL case freely in class guided by the teacher.Results： 93% students thought that their study potential and learning interest were improved.89% students could deepen their understanding of knowledge points.Conclusion： The teaching effects in class were improved through CBL teaching mode,it is helpful for students to integrate the theory with clinical practice.
