Antiviral peptides are a group of biological peptide molecules which can inhibit virus infection. They have already shown good inhibition effect in vitro or in vivo by means of their unique and speicfic effect mechanism, and they also have promising prospect in clinical antiviral area. In this article, the mechanisms of antiviral peptides from different aspects are reviewed.
