本研究采用跨文化效力量表和普遍我族中心主义量表,调查了大学生跨文化效力和我族中心主义的基本情况及相关关系。结果表明:(1)中文版跨文化效力量袁和普遍我族中心主义量表具有较高的可靠性;(2)大学生跨文化效力和我族中心主义均处于中等水平,在跨文化效力的6项因素中,大学生的尊重对方最强,随后依次是认同维护、互动管理、互动放松、行为弹性,而信息技巧最弱;(3)跨文化效力的6项因素间存在较强的相关关系,量表具有较高的内部有效性;(4)跨文化效力和我族中心主义之间呈显著负相关关系;(5)跨文化效力在性别上无显著差异,我族中心主义性别差异显著。
With the use of Intereuhural Effectiveness Scale (IES) and Generalized Ethnocentrism Scale (CENE), tbis study explores intercultural effectiveness and ethnocentrism of college students, as well as their correlation. The results indicates that ( 1 ) Chinese version of IES and GENE has a high reliability; (2) subjects'levels of intercultural effectiveness and ethnocentrism both remain intermediate, among the six factors of IES, subjects got highest mark at interaetant respect, followed by identity maintenance, interaction management, interaction relaxation, behavioral flexibility in sequence and the lowest mark at message skill; (3) significant correlations are discovered among the six factors, hence a high internal validity of IES ; (4) intercultural effectiveness and ethnocentrism have a significantly negative correlation; (5) no significant gender difference in intereuhural sensitivity is found, while there is significant gender difference in ethnocentrism.
