Based on the background of intermodal competition and intramodal competition in network convergence, we analyze the different ways of convergence and its implications for telecommunication regulation in China. We consider that as to the current situation of telecommunication market, opening the operation among telecommunication, cable television and Internet is a natural trend, and we should regulate the intramodal competition.
