It is of great significance to locate the fault and detect its water transmissibility for the safe production of mines by applying the geophysical methods.EH4 electromagnetic imaging method is the combination of CSAMT and MT with the advantages of portability,flexibility,high resolution,and so on.The applied cases of fault locating and detection of its water transmissibility in Xinhong Coalmine,Shandong,show that the EH4 electromagnetic method has great superiority in locating the fault and detecting its water transmissibility.
