According to the formal description of the properties and behaviors of RFID （radio frequency identification） network, RFID network model based on publish/subscribe system was established. RFID network belonged to a kind of overlay network built on IP networks, where many-to-many communication was set up for reading events asynchronously with aid of brokers which store and forward, match and route messages by the designed mechanisms, and relations between RFID readings and their applications didn＇ t need prearranged. Experiments show good effects of such a new model, which can be used for meetingwith the demands of large scale ubiquitous RFID applications in the future.
