基于对城市交通研究的思维方式和技术方法的回顾,指出大数据时代城市交通学面临发展机遇。阐述在信息化发展背景下,既要研究信息化发展与城市交通的相互联系,也要研究如何适应信息化发展来组织城市交通网络的构建和运行。分析了城市交通需求管理在指导城市交通网络构建和运行中的作用。基于交通模型应用现状,从五个方面阐述大数据技术为微观个体行为、出行需求特征与演变规律和传统交通模型等多方面的重新认识乃至重构提供重要的技术支撑。提出研究并建立适应中国国情的城市交通模型,最终达到促进城市交通学发展的目的。最后指出应用信息技术改善城市交通是当前的重要课题。
By reviewing the way of thinking and technical methods in urban transportation research, this paper points out the development opportunity for urban transportation science in the era of big data. The paper indicates that facing informatization development, researchers should study not only interrelation between informatization development and urban transportation, but also the development and operation of urban transportation network with informatization development. The role of travel demand management in guiding the development and operation of urban transportation network is discussed. Based on the application of transportation models, the paper elaborates the technical support of big data technology for better understanding individual behaviors, travel characteristics and evolution, traditional transportation models,and etc. The paper proposes to develop urban transportation models that tailor to the Chinese travel characteristic and promote the development of urban transportation science. Finally, the paper points out that applying information technology to improve urban transportation is a key topic at present.
