英文摘要：
In view of the problems existing in small and weak target detection on the sea surface based on visible light video image processing, the research advances at home and abroad in this field are summarized. The advantages and limitations existing in the methods and algorithms are analyzed from several aspects including dynamic background modeling, foreground target detection and tracking. Problems which need to be solved at present are pointed out, and promising research directions in this field are proposed.
