对大功率射频开关的热分析方法进行了研究,采用大功率等效试验与耦合仿真方法,分析了大功率射频信号对射频开关的影响。仿真与试验结果说明了大功率信号将导致射频开关的材料属性以及结构变化,导致射频性能显著下降。最后分析了射频开关主要的3种失效模式:热击穿、电击穿与接触失效。
Radio frequency (RF) power relays are used to transmit high-power RF signals which produce significant temperature rise. The excessive temperature rise might cause the breakdown of the relay, so thermal analysis methods for RF power relays are of great importance. This paper researches on the thermal analysis method for RF power relays by using coupled simulations and equivalent experiments to analyze the influence that the high- power RF signals have on RF power relays. The results of experiments and simulations show that high-power RF signals will change materials' properties and components' structures, and these changes will deteriorate RF power relays' performance. This paper also researches on the three main failure modes of RF power relays:thermal breakdown, electric breakdown and contact failure.
